President, Representative Director and CEO: Koki Ando of Nissin Foods Holdings Co., Ltd. unveiled an original animation and visual campaign featuring Manchester United players at a press conference held at Old Trafford stadium in Manchester, England on Saturday November 8th, in-line with their three-year global partnership signed on July 1, 2014 with Manchester United. This was the official "kick-off" of Nissin's global campaign which covers South-East Asia, Latin America and the rest of the World.
The animation and visuals are designed around the concept of "Ignite the Spirit of Challenge," which combines the world-class skills of Manchester United players with anime created by renowned animator, Kazuto Nakazawa, famous for the animation sequence in the movie "Kill Bill". The film symbolizes the innovation of both Nissin and Manchester United, which is rooted deeply in their spirit and style with these unique visuals.

On September 14th, Nissin choreographed a half-time performance at Old Trafford. The Red Samurai and three Ninjas dazzled the spectators with their amazing football freestyle moves. In addition, Nissin created a movie featuring this half-time performance and shared it on the web. This generated 12 million views from all over the world. On November 8th, Nissin launched an animation and visuals capturing the athletic ability and spirit of Manchester United players in Japanese anime style. This will also be used in a variety of promotional media including packaging, TV advertising and posters.

About Kazuto Nakazawa
Born in 1968, Kazuto Nakazawa is originally from Niigata Prefecture. Upon graduation from Tokyo Animator College, he set out to become an animator after considering a career in drawing and concluding that animation was the form of that he could relate to the most. This animation director, animator, illustrator and character designer oversaw character design for the first time with "El-Hazard: The Magnificent World." Known for directing the Japanese anime sequence in the Hollywood film "Kill Bill."
